Bombard Renewable Energy's Solar Trailers Power Earth Day’s Celebration At GreenFest 2015

Bombard Renewable Energy’s solar trailers completely powered the sixth annual EARTH Day Festival - GREENFest 2015 hosted by Downtown Summerlin. The events’ stage and entertainers including about 65 booths were all connected to three solar trailers provided by Bombard Renewable Energy. The three trailers delivered about 24 kW of clean electrical power.

The GREEN Alliance and Republic Services held the sixth annual EARTH Day Festival - GREENFest 2015 on April 25, 2015 at Howard Hughes Corporation’s Downtown Summerlin. There were approximately 8,000 to 10,000 people in attendance. This event featured environmental topics, exhibits, recycling collection, renewable and sustainable innovations and resources to create a more comfortable and healthy lifestyle.

GREENFest gave the opportunity to showcase the sustainable community through education, activities, entertainment, kids’ zone, exhibits and approximately 165 booths. One of the goals of the event was to make this a zero-waste festival. GreenFest wanted to use clean power and turned to Bombard Renewable Energy. When asked to help with the event, Bo Balzar, Operations Manager, said “We are thrilled to help promote renewable energy and help further the Green Alliance mission. Our solar trailers give people an up close look at solar in action. This was a great opportunity to help educate families and show how renewable energy can help everyone.”
