PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Nellis Solar Array II covers about 102 acres. This installation, along with the 14 MW Nellis AFB Solar Star built in 2007, generates virtually 100% of the base’s energy needs during daytime hours and 42% overall requirements.
This project was a partnership with SunPower and NV Energy.
